1.      How can I join the Hinchman Heritage Society?  

Mail $20.00 check to Ron Tebben, Treasurer, 66 Wood Thrush Lane, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 for one year’s membership fee and three newsletters each year.  

2.      How often does the organization meet?   

Once each summer.  Usually in June. 

3.      Is “The Hinchman Family in America” book available?  

The book is no longer available.  Information collected for the book is posted on http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ .

4.      How do I know if I am related to other HHS members. 

Check the http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ website and / or attend a summer conference and talk with others.   

5.      How can I get a y-DNA test to see how or if I connect to other Hinchman families.  

Contact http://www.familytreemaker.com/ for instructions and cost.   

6.      How many Hinchman men have had y-DNA testing?   

Eleven men have been tested.  The results are six different groups.

Hello Cousins, Welcome to the Hinchman Heritage Society. The purpose of this website is to inform family members about current events, as well as to share genealogical and historical information.
